On the night of January 5, the city organizes a great reception to the Kings of the East, with a great parade through the streets of the city, accompanied by a large entourage of pages, floats and troupes of artistic companies, dancers, postmen and other groups coming from entities and organizations that want to participate.

The feast of Kings is celebrated on January 6, date in which it is believed that wise astrologers from the East came to Bethlehem to worship the baby Jesus and made offerings of gold, incense and myrrh. That is why even today the main component of the celebration is the gift.
It was not until the seventh century when the Kings began to be three - Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar - and with a definite provenance: Europe, Asia and Africa, the three known continents. Some medieval interpretations also drew them as the three states of man: wisdom, maturity and youth.
